About

My name is Steve Rogers. I am a keen hobbyist photographer with over 30 years experience of shooting with SLR’s, APC-C DSLR’s, Full Frame DSLR’s and most recently the Micro Four Thirds ‘mirrorless’ Compact System Cameras (CSC’s).

Although primarily a hobbyist, I do undertake paid work, and sell images on Stock Photo websites like ‘Getty’.  Over the years I have explored and taught myself many techniques, and bought, sold, and upgraded many lenses, flashguns, tripods and other camera accessories. This is typical for many ‘gearhead’ photographers, so I know I’m not unique.

My aim with this blog is to share my experiences of the past, present and future,  with a particular focus on contrasting how my Nikon D750 FF and Olympus OMD E-M1 MFT systems perform. There are certain things where I will always gravitate towards one system or the other.  But there others where both systems perform equally well.

Join me on this journey and insight into “Which works best, and Why?”
